Lawyer Referral Service
The Queens County Bar Association operates a Lawyer Referral Service where a prospective client may obtain an attorney in one of 25 areas of law. The referral is given out on a rotating basis, in order to maintain fairness. Panelists are skipped only when there is a special need, such as a requisite language. The attorney will charge $35 for up to one-half hour of the initial consultation. Any fees beyond the one-half hour are arranged between the client and attorney.

If you are in need of an attorney and do not know where to turn, contact the Lawyer Referral Service by calling, 718-291-4500, or emailing, lrs@qcba.org. (If you are requesting a referral by email, please provide your full name, address and phone number.)
