The Queens County Bar Association offers a mentoring opportunity for all law students and newly-admitted attorneys. Our Mentoring Committee provides free advice and guidance. Our mentors are seasoned experts in many different areas of practice and procedure. To request a mentor, click  Request a Mentor and complete the online form.

Our yearly directory lists all members together with important information concerning the court directory, important numbers and a listing of committee members, essential for those seeking employment and networking opportunities.

Continuing Legal Education programs are available to members at discounted prices. Our programs keep members abreast of current developments and help maintain and improve their skills to provide the best possible service to their clients.

The QCBA library includes a tech center with state-of-the-art computers and peripherals, along with online legal research capabilities.  The library, as well as the entire building, has wireless accessibility.

Our Lawyer Referral Service enables any person not acquainted with an attorney to be referred to a qualified member on our Referral Panel giving our members an opportunity to expand their practice.

The Queens Bar Bulletin is published bi-monthly with information about Association activities as well as articles and updates of interest to the profession.

The opportunity to join several of more than 60 committees, which are free and open to all members.

Life, health, disability and malpractice insurance are offered to members at special group rates, along with discounts on credit card processing, a purchasing discount buying program, and web site development and hosting packages.  As a member, you can also utilize one of our conference rooms for meeting with clients, holding examinations and depositions.

We offer our members a wide variety of social activities including an Annual Dinner, Golf Outing, Holiday Party and membership events, which afford members an opportunity to meet with each other and with judicial and legislative members in an informal setting.

The Queens County Bar Association awards a monetary scholarship to a deserving law student each Spring. The scholarship is awarded based on financial need, a commitment to community service and academic achievement.  Law students that are eligible to apply must be currently enrolled in a law school in the Metropolitan area or be a resident of Queens County.  Click here for candidate letter and scholarship form.
